Capella University to Hold Commencement Ceremeony August 11 in Minneapolis

The online university will hold its 13th commencement ceremony at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, August 9, 2007 – Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited,* online university, will celebrate its 13th commencement ceremony in Minneapolis on Saturday, August 11, 2007. The event is being held at Orchestra Hall, and will feature Bill Strickland, the president and CEO of Manchester Bidwell Corporation, as the keynote speaker. More than 550 bachelor's, master's, and PhD online degree candidates are scheduled to attend the ceremony. Capella currently has nearly 20,000 students, approximately 85 percent of whom are pursuing master’s or PhD degrees.

This will be the second commencement ceremony Capella has held this year. The first was held in San Francisco on February 24.
