Capella University, an accredited online university, to offer free recertification credits during Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) annual conference
Presentations to earn credits will be led by Dr. Laina Molaski, faculty chair for the online university's Human Resource and Retail Management Specializations
MINNEAPOLIS, June 24, 2010 - Capella University, an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, will offer attendees at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) annual conference in San Diego the opportunity to earn free recertification credits. Dr. Laina Molaski, the online university's faculty chair of Human Resource and Retail Management Specializations, will lead two presentations on the latest research in the human resource field. Each presentation will earn 2.5 certification credits towards SHRM's Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certifications.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the presentations using this link, or also in-person during the conference at Capella University's booth #1922. Topics to be presented include:
- Textual Harassment – With the advance of technology and so many forms of communication, harassment can happen in person, via telephone, email, texting, on Facebook, Twitter, Instant Messaging, the list is endless.
- Creating Change without Wreaking Havoc – Explore how to manage change in turbulent times when often the unknown is the issue at hand for the Human Resource professional.
