MINNEAPOLIS, April 15, 2010 - The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) recognized two doctoral graduates from Capella University, an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, for its 2010 ISPI Distinguished Dissertation Award Competition. The honor, which awards excellence in student research, was received by graduates of the online university's PhD in Education, Training and Performance Improvement specialization.
The award winning dissertations, written by Dr. Edward Nathan, "Critical Success Factors: How One Multinational Company Develops Global e-Learning;" and Dr. Pamela Ludlow Robinson, "A Level 4 Evaluation of a Structured On-The-Job Operator Training Intervention at a North American Paper Mill," were recognized by ISPI for their alignment to ISPI's Human Performance Technology Standards (HPT), and the utility of the study for both HPT scholars and practitioners.
