Faculty members from Capella University, an accredited online university, to lead multiple presentations on the latest counseling research during ACA Conference in Pittsburgh

The online degree provider to also screen PBS documentary, "The Next Mission"

MINNEAPOLIS, March 16, 2010 - Capella University, an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, will host multiple presentations on the latest counseling research during the 2010 American Counseling Association (ACA) conference in Pittsburgh, Penn. Faculty members from the online degree provider's Harold Abel School of Social and Behavioral Sciences presenting topics on Saturday, March 20 include:

On Sunday March 21, Capella University's interim director of CACREP Re-Accreditation Kelly Coker will sit on a panel discussion sponsored by CACREP regarding the assessment of student learning outcomes.

In addition, Capella University will screen multiple showings of "The Next Mission", a documentary airing across the country on PBS examining the psychological toll of combat duty—and how the right care can make all the difference. Veterans, mental health providers, and researchers are at the heart of this timely and hope-filled documentary, inspired by recent Capella research.
